Researching a project, I found that there were no nice technical drawings of the Arduino, so I decided to make one. It’s based off Matthew Stonebraker’s nice Arduino Solid Works file on GrabCad. Use this dimensional drawing to design a case or mounting plate.
Like this? You might be interested in my latest project. It's a desk light made completely from a single sheet of printed circuit board. Check it out:
Very nice, I was looking for details in order to make a custom casing.
This really help me.
Keep up the good work.
Very good drawing, made in fusion360?
Gave me an easy start making a custom case for the uno.
Best regards,
Axel
Thanks 🙂 No, this was done in SolidWorks, based off someone else’s model, IIRC.
Thank you for sharing ! This really simplified the case design.

Thank you. Very nice.
Honestly, pretty shit drawing. Dimensions missing on the outline, holes only referenced to each other but not to the outline… useless.
Hi Hlavac, thanks for reaching out. Now that you point it out, I see there are some dimensions missing. You’re free to make your own version 😉
thanks.. help me for make custom case
Thank you so much for this drawing. I was searching everywhere for the correct dimensions so that I could design an enclosure.
thank you very much!!!
Much appreciated! All dimensions needed can be extrapolated from this drawing. Will be making a custom mount with my cnc machine.
Again, many thanks!
Gregor, your drawing for Arduino Uno does not have the position the the connectors. Or I cannot find it.
Hi Mihai, the dimensions for the USB/barrel are there, but no dimensions are given for the headers. I wasn’t expecting people to use them. You can still measure them yourself since the drawing is to scale (2:1 iirc).
